The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is about as anticipated as any phone has ever been and it has proved just as difficult to pin down its release date.

everyone guessing as to exactly when the Ice Cream Sandwich toting HD screened phone would be released in the UK.

We reported earlier in the week that Phones4u have an exclusive deal to sell the Nexus starting next week but there were also reports of stock shortages that would delay resellers and anyone other than Phones4u from selling the phone potentially until December as Amazon have been showing on the order page.

But don’t worry as we are happy to provide conclusive proof that you will soon be able to pick up a Galaxy Nexus on the 17th November from O2 and it will be available on contract and pay as you go.

O2 have used the new Google Plus pages for companies to show off their own Samsung Galaxy Nexus and as you can see from the screen shot they confirm in the comments that it will be available as planned (and as we reported earlier) on the original scheduled date of the November 17th.
