LONDON – November 18, 2011 – HTC Corporation, a global leader in smartphone innovation and design, has kicked off a new social media digital campaign to celebrate the launch of HTC Sensation™ XL with Beats Audio™. The campaign is designed to extend its direct engagement with consumers on Facebook and to tap into their love for music.
’25 Steps to Being a Music Legend’ will run across 14 countries in EMEA and is part of HTC’s first integrated advertising campaign for HTC Sensation™ XL with Beats Audio™.
The application features a diverse list of 25 steps that every music fan should experience, from ‘making someone a mixtape’ to ‘watching a cult music film’, rewarding them for the number of tasks they complete with a chance to win a top prize of a HTC Sensation™ XL with Beats Audio™.
To further socialise this application, fans can earn status badges from initial ‘Newcomer’ all the way to ‘Legend’ status and track their progress on a leaderboard. Content submitted from fans will be spotlighted within the HTC community to further drive community engagement.
Designed and executed by HTC’s EMEA social media agency, Profero, the competition kicked off this week and rolls out across EMEA this week. The competition will last 25 days, at which point the competition music legends winners will be announced via the HTC Facebook fan pages.
