About gazedice.com

Gazed ice is a website dedicated to technology and the latest gadgets. We hand pick the most interesting stories from the world of consumer technology and present them to readers without the noise.

We will be first with reviews and news of the latest phones, tablets and computers and other consumer technologies. We hope that we will have the support of those companies we cover including but by no means limited to Apple, HTC, Samsung, LG, Sony, Sony Ericsson, Google, Microsoft, RIM and all the other amazing technology companies out there.

We cover the world of technology but as we are based in the UK we will fill the niche that unfortunately means a top quality UK technology blog is lacking right now.

We are inspired by the people that write about technology everyday, the dedicated journalists at Engadget, Gizmodo, Slashgear, BGR, CNET, Ars technica and The Verge and every other top quality blog out there.

We expect the website to rapidly change and morph as it develops and we want you, the reader, to join us on this adventure and join in and comment and add to what we want to be a thriving community.

About the Editor-in-Chief

My love of technology started when I was a little boy playing on my Commodore Amiga and Atari Lynx and it has grown ever since.

I started writing for my college newspaper at 16 and have always been one to make my opinion known, through university where I graduated with a law degree and then onto my current undertaking of an Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).

Through all this hard work I have had the latest technology to keep me company and share my knowledge whilst also working in the restaurant business, where I currently manage three restaurants.

I can’t help but be moved by the words of Steve Jobs back in 1995 at the Stanford University graduation ceremony where he said…

“You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.”

That is why I am here writing for this site. And that is a lesson we should all learn.
