BMW X6 M Review 2020 – Tech & Exterior

The BMW X6 M might just be the best looking SUV there is if you love an aggressive looking car.

The X6 M isn’t afraid to show it is the performance vehicle in the X6 range with the massive front vents and aggressive blacked out front bumpers. No doubt you wouldn’t want one of these behind you in a rush as it would intimidate.

But we should not forget this is an SUV with tons of capacity in the back – 580 litres in total and putting down the back seats will give you even more space.

This car matches the M5 Competition with the same 625 hp and 750 Nm of torque which will get you from 0-62MPH in 3.8 seconds conservatively. It also has the same twin turbo V8 engine as the M5 and has the same deep exciting noise coming from the sports exhaust.

Once you sit inside the X6 M you get the expected BMW M treatment of gorgeous comfortable seats with M logos in the headrest matching the carbon fibre and high quality materials of the interior. A massive touch screen sits centre of the dashboard at 12.3 inches and complimented by BMW’s 12.3″ digital cockpit and a plethora of lighting options if you want the cabin customised to light up however you may desire it.

That infotainment system also packs all the safety features you could want with lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, reversing assistant and parking assistant to name but a few (but watch the video to see the full run-down of the infotainment system).

We also get wireless Android Auto (a BMW first) and Apple CarPlay which look amazing on that widescreen display and there is a Harmon/Kardon speaker system to make sure you enjoy the music in the car.

This is a beast of a performance SUV and one that is worth checking out if you’re after a large powerful vehicle like this.
