Audi A4 Sedan 2021 Review – ALL about Comfort

The Audi A4 was the first car that ever caught my eye; in the guise of the 414HP RS4 B7 (ignoring the Ferrari F40).

I wanted one of those so very much and I felt unlike the Ferrari it was attainable. It could even be argued that the very reason I have an Audi RS3 Sedan now is because it terms of size, design and power it is the spiritual successor to that car.

Cars change and the A4 is no exception and has gotten larger, wider and heavier over the generations so this new 2021 Facelift is very spacious.

You can feel that spaciousness sitting in the car and can feel it sitting in the back. There is plenty of space for a family, for an executive and even your dog!

This car is unusual for a facelift as there have been many changes, covering the bodywork and the lines of the car which typically are untouched as well as and the interior.

The interior changes are most welcome with a 10.1 inch touchscreen joining the A4 and the old reliable click-wheel replaced by a little compartment in the centre console for any change you might have lying around.

You might have quite a bit of change as the Audi A4 is VERY reasonable to purchase. The model I reviewed here is a Black Edition which looks great and almost mean. A similarly specced car can be yours for less than £300 per month! Maybe next time you see someone driving a fancy Audi you might just find it was a lot less than you expected!

Moving back to the exterior we have new lights all round front to rear and new daytime running lights which mimic the A6 and A7. In fact Audi have brought the A4 & A5 lines up to look like the more high end models just on this facelift. And this isn’t even the first update to the A4 look; it has already had a minor model year look update previously.

This car has everything you could need with all these updates but how is it to drive?

There is little doubt that you can feel initially a bit of waft in driving this car which would no doubt be gone in a trim level with harder, sportier suspension (and compared to an RS car) and it feels very vague (BUT this isn’t an RS car and most people won’t be) however the minute you drive over a pothole and feel nothing it makes you smile.

This car is very comfortable to drive. As an executive on the road you would get where you need very relaxed and as a family looking for a saloon with space this will happily take your family wherever you need to go in comfort. And safety.

The car I reviewed has a 360 camera and I can’t recommend this enough as an option to tick as it made manoeuvring and parking so much easier and that is what technology in the car is meant to be – helpful.
